✨ Bold Bite 1: B-Minus Work Changes Lives

How many half-finished things are living rent-free in your drafts folder right now? Half-written email sequences, that landing page outline you “just need one more pass” on, the Instagram posts sitting in drafts…

In this very first Bold Bite episode, I’m calling out the lie we’ve all believed at some point: that our work has to be A+ to be worthy of shipping.

Here’s what I talk about:

  • Why your A+ idea sitting in a drafts folder helps ZERO people
  • How B-minus work (the slightly messy, not-perfect version) is what actually changes lives (because it’s out in the world)
  • Why perfectionism is a hiding spot that feels productive, but really keeps you from being seen

If you’ve been “one more edit”ing yourself into oblivion, this one’s for you.

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Pick one thing you’ve been sitting on and put it out in the world now. Not tomorrow. Today.

✨ Bold Bite 2: Plot Twist: Nobody Noticed

Have you heard about the spotlight effect? It’s this concept that we massively overestimate how much other people are paying attention to us. That typo in your newsletter, that thing you stumbled over on your sales call, that reel where your hair looked weird in the last 3 seconds…

No one noticed. Or, they forgot about it in five seconds.

In this Bold Bite episode, I’m building on last week’s “B-minus work changes lives” philosophy to talk about why that thing living rent-free in your head isn’t actually affecting anyone else. Your audience isn’t dissecting your font choices or rewatching your stories to analyze your lighting. They’re scrolling for five seconds while making dinner or worrying about their own typos.

Here’s what I’m walking you through:

  • What the spotlight effect is and why it keeps you stuck in perfectionism paralysis
  • How much attention people are actually paying to your content (way less than you think)
  • Why your real community is rooting for you, not keeping a scoreboard
  • The freedom that comes when you realize the stakes are so much lower than you think

Whether you’re agonizing over captions for 45 minutes or re-recording voiceovers six times, this episode will free you from obsessive perfectionism and remind you that done is better than flawless.

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Post something unpolished today and watch the sky not fall.

✨ Bold Bite 3: Do It Scared

“I’ll raise my prices when I feel more confident.” “I’ll go on video once I feel ready.” “I’ll launch that offer next quarter when I feel more solid.” Sound familiar?

In this Bold Bite episode, I’m tackling the lie that keeps people stuck longer than almost anything else: the idea that you need to feel confident before you do the scary thing. Spoiler alert: That magic morning when you wake up feeling “ready” is never coming. Confidence doesn’t work like that.

Here’s what I want you to take away:

  • Why treating confidence as a prerequisite keeps you stuck for almost forever
  • How confidence actually works (hint: it comes after action, not before)
  • Why “do it scared” is more than a motivational quote; it’s a business strategy

If you’ve been waiting for confidence to arrive before taking action, this one will lovingly call you out and push you forward.

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Think of one thing you’ve been postponing because you don’t feel ready, and commit to it, even if you need to do it scared.

✨ Bold Bite 4: Beige Toast Copy is Killing Your Business

Something weird happens when we sit down to write for our businesses. We open the Google Doc or the Instagram caption box, and suddenly we become someone else. We stiffen up. We start using words we would never ever say out loud.

And with so many of us using AI now, the problem is getting worse. People are pulling copy straight from AI without editing it back into their own voice, and the result is a string of sentences that just don’t sound like them.

In this Bold Bite, I’m talking about why your copy might not be landing, and why the fix is way simpler (and more human) than you think.

I talk about:

  • Why your copy might be “beige toast” (content people see but don’t feel)
  • Why people buy from humans, not mission statements, and what that means for how you write
  • The embarrassingly simple trick to make your copy sound like you

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Rewrite your last caption like it’s a text to your best friend.

If your content feels technically fine but emotionally flat, this episode will help you bring the warmth, the voice, and the you back into your words.

✨ Bold Bite 5: The Permission Slip Your Content Plan Needs

Creating content doesn’t have to be a grind. Really. I’m calling out the “do it all” hamster wheel: posting everywhere, chasing the algorithm, hitting the perfect times, following every trend — you name it. Oh, and that dread of forcing yourself into formats you hate? We’re going there too.

But, hear me out: energy transfers through the screen. If you’re bored, resentful, or panic-posting out of obligation, your audience can feel it. Strategy matters, but a strategy built on dread only produces “meh.” Strategy built on genuine energy is where the magic is.

What I’m talking about in this episode:

  • Why “you have to” is usually just internet nonsense
  • The real reason your best content performs (hint: it didn’t drain your soul to make)
  • Why your enthusiasm is a better hook than hashtags, schedules, or trending audio
  • How to stop forcing platforms/formats that make you procrastinate

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Delete the thing you’re dreading from your to-do list and replace it with something that lights you up.

When your content plan starts to feel like a punishment, it’s a sign that something needs to change. This episode helps you spot what’s draining your energy and rebuild a content rhythm that feels authentic to you.

✨ Bold Bite 6:

You posted about an idea once. Twice. Okay, three times. And now you’re worried you’re repeating yourself TOO MUCH. So you move on, chase the next topic, the next angle, the next “fresh” thing to talk about —  just to avoid repeating yourself.

But here’s the reality check: only about 10% of your audience sees your posts. That brilliant piece of content you shared last month? Roughly 90% of your audience never saw it. And that means you’re not repeating yourself. You’re saying it for the first time… to almost everyone.

Here’s what I’m getting into:

  • Why the fear of “repeating yourself” is one of the biggest content marketing mistakes
  • The reality of reach (and why most people miss most of your content)
  • Why people need to hear an idea multiple times before it actually sticks
  • How repetition builds recognition — and recognition builds trust

Your Bold Bite Action:

  • Repost your best-performing content exactly as it was.

Sometimes the most powerful move isn’t creating something new. It’s saying the thing that already worked… again. So, if you feel like you’re constantly reinventing the wheel with your content, this episode will take a huge weight off your shoulders.
